YOU’RE NOT ALONE

“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel (which means, God with us)” Matthew 1:23

Is that you who feels lonely in life? Are you feeling alone when facing something big? It’s quite normal to feel that way, when we are in a situation that seems really tough, or when facing something that seems just too hard. When things go all around us, we may stumble and feel left alone. When we couldn’t see things in our life just as we imagined, we doubt the presence of God.

But here’s the truth. In all that we go through, good or bad, easy or tough, God is with us. That’s exactly what He promised us in Isaiah 41:10, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” There’s something incredibly comforting in the fact that the Almighty God is with us. Throughout the Scripture, He has reassured us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. God has never left us alone or helpless; it’s just that we didn’t realize His presence.

God is not only with us, but He is in us. He is constantly working in us. He is fixing the very situation that we’re worried about. In Philippians 2:13 we read, “for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.” Not only is God with us and in us, but God is also for us. Ap.Paul writes to Romans in ch.8:31, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” No matter how bad things seem, we must remember that “God is for us” and He’s working everything for our good. Jesus loves us deeply and He is constantly defending us, He is interceding for us, He is working in power within us and He is watching over our lives! We just got to believe and thank God with confidence that, “Oh God! Thank You that You’re going to be with me today, You’re going to be in me today, and You’re going to be for me today, Amen.” This helps us to get rid of fear of whatever we’re facing and it allays those with happiness instead. Remember always, ‘You’re not alone!
