“Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.” Proverbs 3:3
Faithfulness, as one of the characteristics of fruit of the Spirit, weighs more towards trustworthiness and loyalty. Having faith or being faithful is not just believing in the Word of God, but it involves the way we live our lives according to it. Our faithfulness to God and to worldly relationships shows our loyal love and the essence of true salvation in our hearts.
Jeremiah says in Lamentations 3:22,23- “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions do not fail. They are new every morning; great is Your Faithfulness.” Our God never expects anything from us which He has not given! Yes. God has been faithful to us even in areas where we don’t realize. His very own nature is Love and Faithfulness to His Love. He indeed gave Himself as a sacrifice for our remission of sins. When we have received this love from Him, we’ve also inherited God’s faithfulness in our lives. How do we show our faithfulness to God? It is by committing our ‘whole’ self to the will of God and remaining loyal to all His teachings and commandments, neglecting none.
Eddie Foster wrote, ‘we may easily believe in God, but it takes faithfulness to actually believe Him and His teachings- enough to change our lives.’ Let us not only call ourselves as believers in Christ but be more of ‘faithful servants’ to the Almighty. As Hebrews 10:23 says, let us hold fast the confession of our hope(faith) without wavering (by the help of the Holy Spirit), for He who promised is faithful! Amen!

😇Great is His Faithfulness 🙏
