“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
In this context, Paul writes to the body of Christ that, when we see through the mirror of our lives, we aren’t supposed to see us, but the glory of God. It means our lives should no longer reflect our own selves, but Jesus Christ. When we are filled with the Holy Spirit and behold God, we become mirrors. Through the unveiled openness to the God’s glory, our lives are made mirrors, reflecting His glory to the world. Isn’t that a great privilege?
In order to mirror Christ, we need to have a close connection with the Lord. Only when the mirror is turned face to face to the object, it can reflect the same. In the same manner, we cannot look at the world and show Christ in our lives. We must turn our hearts and minds to Jesus in order to mirror Him. We read in the Gospels that, Jesus took every opportunity to spend time with the Father and thus demonstrated His will on earth. Moses spent forty days in Mt.Sinai in God’s presence and when he climbed down, the Israelites saw that his face was shone by God’s glory.
When we spend time in God’s presence and cherish God’s Word, it would deepen our relationship with Him. The more close we are with God, the more of Godly characters we develop. It helps us to reach out to people and show Christ. The only Jesus the world sees, is the One reflected by us. We ought to be very responsible to carry the salvation to the world. Let our lives mirror Jesus Christ and thus let His will be done through us. Amen!

Nice thought 😇
