SEASONS💫

“There is a time for everything, a season for every activity under the heavens.” Ecclesiastes 3:1

Scientifically, a season is a division of the year based on changes in the weather. As we experience the different seasons on and off over our lifetime, one thing we are reminded is ‘the impermanence of nature’. Everything keeps changing around us; and nothing is still. This constant changing pattern of the seasons, complete a year.

Likewise, our lives takes us through different seasons. There is a season of encouragement, hope and new beginnings; this spring is followed by a summer with good signs of growth and prosperity. But there is a season of fall and winter, where we go through loneliness and struggles that our graph might decline and feel cold. God leads us through these different seasons in our lives, in-order to mould us and teach us to acknowledge that He is sufficient for us at all times. Whenever we go through challenges and silent days, we need to remind ourselves that there would be an outpour of rain, and a new season will spring up. Just like there’s no one perfect season in nature, there’s no perfect season in our lives; the combination of every ups and down will make us whole in Christ.

A tree doesn’t grow and yield all its fruits in one season, there is a time for everything. In every season, let us learn to depend on God more and trust in Him, for He is good and He makes all things beautiful in His time. His goodness and provisions doesn’t depend on our circumstances. God is always faithful, and He changes different seasons in our lives, to change something in us. So let us not worry or grumble during hard times, but embrace and learn from the Word of God and yield ourselves into His hands, to manifest His glory. “His favor is for a lifetime; weeping may last for a night, but a shout of joy comes in the morning.” -Psalm 30:5
