“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchmen stays awake in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows; For so He gives His beloved sleep.” _ Psalm 127:1,2.
God is sovereign. The above read psalm is a well known scripture written by the wisest king Solomon. This passage clearly conveys that without God how much ever we toil, nothing is possible; for the final say is from HIM. Today in this corporate world, we unceasingly run errands to achieve our goals and to settle in life. Very often we forget to seek His Kingdom and to delight in His presence. Unfortunately, we tire effecting no purpose in life, end up seeking worldly solutions. The Bible clearly explains that the Lord is the stronghold of our lives.
In our recent past, we were hit by the COVID-19 pandemic where the whole world was in a turmoil. People were in a state to do any extreme to save their lives. But not any of the safety precautions kept the virus away. Many doctors, rulers, politicians, innocent people lost their lives. Are we still alive in that same world because we had better safety measures or treatments? No. It is purely by the Grace of God and the Blood of Jesus Christ which guarded us and provided us a hedge of protection.
Let us pause for a minute and shift our priorities to God and commit whatever we attempt to Him, from the very beginning, because if God is not in it, then there is no peace and success in it; for Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.” Let us labor as well as prosper with the Lord for, His plans are to prosper us and not to harm us; plans to give us hope and a future. With God all things are possible and He who started the good work in us will bring it to completion until the day of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Very Thoughtful
